All Round View (Peshawar): The airstrikes led by the Afghan security forces shot 57 Taliban in southern Uruzgan and northern Badakhshan regions, officials announced on Friday.

Provincial Governor Spokesman, Ahmadshah Sahil stated that airborne operations were led in reacting to militants’ crimes on the security checkpoints in Dehrado district of the province. An Afghan soldier was killed and another one injured, he stated. “The civilians didn’t suffer any casualty during the operations.”

A spokesperson for the department of northern Badakhshan Governor, Abdulmanan Nazari stated that at least 20 rioters were killed in the airstrikes in Yaftal-e-Bala district of the province. “Seven militants injured,” he continued.

Some weapons and ammunition were also destroyed in these aerial operations.

As the Taliban have increased attacks on the Afghan defence forces to obtain privilege in the intra-Afghan negotiations, the Afghan administration mostly relies on the aerial operation to drive the rioters back.
