All Round View (Peshawar): Researcher on Islamic movements, Hisham Al-Najjar, confirmed that the terrorist Brotherhood is working to exploit its institutions abroad to enhance its opportunities and status across Western countries. To present a bad image of the Egyptian regime and incite Western governments against Egypt, the Brotherhood’s leaders, mosques and institutions question the implementation of human rights laws in the country and stir external public opinion.

The Brotherhood uses these platforms to spread violence and disseminate their distorted and bloody rhetoric, as part of a project adopted by certain Western governments that wish to expand in the Middle Eastern countries and interfere in its affairs.

However, these countries were eventually affected by this plot as these platforms acted like outlets for terrorism that spread the extremist ideology of the Brotherhood, plaguing the countries of the world.

It became clear that the Brotherhood’s preachers aimed at recruiting Muslims in Europe and America deluding Muslims immigrants who fear the loss of religious identity in open societies.

Najjar stressed that the Brotherhood’s efforts to expand will not yield positive outcome because Muslims have realized the danger of this group and no matter how much it seeks to return to the political scene, it will not be able to.

On 12 November 2020, the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars (CSS) issued a statement saying that the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist group that does not represent the approach of Islam.

According to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as quoting the statement, the council explained that the Muslim Brotherhood group “blindly follows partisan objectives that are running contrary to the guidance of our graceful religion, while taking religion as a mask to disguise its purposes to practice the opposite such as sedition, wreaking havoc, committing violence and terrorism.”

The statement added that anything that might affect the unity of citizens around their leaders through disseminating suspicion or founding groups pledging allegiance to outside parties or organizations is “forbidden according to the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (Sunnah).”

The council further said that the Brotherhood “has never shown any care of Islamic creed, or the domains of knowledge related to the Quran or Sunnah, for its sole goal, is to grab the reins of power.”

The bloody history of the Muslim Brotherhood was highlighted in the statement, which added that out of its womb, “many extremist and terrorist groups have emerged, wreaking havoc on so many territories, which has been clearly demonstrated by their violence and crimes all over the world.”
